The course sits in the picturesque Ganhaizi, the east foot of Lijiang Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Yunnan Province, a plateau 3,100 meters above sea level. Because of its high altitude and comparatively week G-force, the specially designed 18-hole, par 72 and 8,548-yard course has been proved to be a world record.
